Using Blur Faces is straightforward. Upload your image, wait a few seconds for our AI to detect and blur all faces, then download your processed image. No account is required for basic use, though creating a free account removes watermarks from your downloads and unlocks additional features.

What image formats are supported?

We support PNG, JPG, and WEBP formats up to 10MB in size. For best results, use high-resolution images where faces are clearly visible. Extremely low-resolution or heavily compressed images may result in missed face detections.

Are my images stored on your servers?

No. Images are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored. They are only held temporarily in memory during processing and are immediately deleted once the blurred image is generated. We never use your images for AI training or share them with third parties.

How accurate is the face detection?

Our AI uses advanced computer vision to detect faces with high accuracy. It works best with clear, front-facing photos but can also detect faces at various angles and in different lighting conditions. Faces that are very small, heavily obscured, or at extreme angles may occasionally be missed.

Can I adjust the blur intensity?

Yes. Before processing, you can adjust the blur strength using our slider control. A higher value creates a stronger blur that makes faces completely unrecognizable, while a lower value applies a subtle blur that maintains some facial structure while still protecting identity.

Can I process multiple images at once?

Yes. Our batch processing feature allows you to upload multiple images and process them all at once. The processed images are packaged into a convenient ZIP file for easy download. This feature is available to all users.

Why does my download have a watermark?

Downloads include a small watermark for users who haven't signed in. Creating a free account removes the watermark completely. This helps us maintain the service while still providing free access to our core face blurring technology.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time, but you won't be charged again after cancellation.

The face detection missed a face. What can I do?

If a face was missed, try uploading a higher resolution version of the image or cropping the image so faces appear larger. Faces that are very small (less than 50 pixels wide), heavily shadowed, or turned away from the camera may not be detected. For critical use cases, always verify the output before sharing.
